Head Tilt Friends Update
“Sailor and Scrappy, now Opal and Pearl, are living their best life thanks to the Dolly’s Difference.
These girls had a very rough start to life. They were rescued along with 36 other bunnies, all living in a cramped trailer in storage totes. None of them got proper vet care or proper nutrition for at least 3 years.
Another local rabbit rescue wanted to euthanize these girls and their brother Slimmy because the cost of their care would be too much.
At Dolly’s, we don’t euthanize just because the cost of treating and helping a rabbit might be “too much”. Every single bunny is worth it to us and deserves a chance.
Once these girls were brought into our foster program, they started thriving immediately. Thanks to Dr. Hill they got the proper care and medication to help with their E.Cunaculi. Today, they live normal bunny lives. They both have running fits, do binkies and love to play with their toys. In the 5th photo, you can even see Sailor flopped! They both enjoy sleeping in their princess tents and being spoiled.”

The amount they’ve improved is frankly astounding and we are continually blown away by their progress. When both arrived, they could only see the sky and the floor.
Putting them down never even crossed our minds and we’re so lucky we were able to pull before they were euthanized due to their disabilities. Disabilities shouldn’t be a death sentence for bunnies and we’ll keep fighting for all of the disabled buns who cross our path.
