Education Course Importance
Sometimes we get questions about why adopters and fosters are required to take our (free) virtual education course, so we thought we’d explain the reasoning behind this.
Rabbit husbandry has changed so much within the past 10 years that we feel it’s pertinent to give all of our adopters the same, updated, information.
It’s like starting on a blank slate so that the knowledge you have is as fresh as possible and correct.
We try to make this virtual presentation as quick as possible and even give people the opportunity to ask questions during the 1(ish) hour course.
Several times, we’ve had people leave during the course because they “didn’t realize a bunny would be so much work.”
It is in no way a course to scare people, but a course to explain how wonderful bunnies can be with proper care and love.
This is a failsafe to reduce amount of returned bunnies, ensure our bunnies get the highest level of care possible, and to set all adopters up for success.
Anyone is welcome to take the course and learn all about proper rabbit care from housing, to diet, to how to handle your rabbit, and more. Sign ups here.
